Basically the portable Bonator can be applied in every niche of a restaurant, as
all its functions work offline and independently of a central host computer (e.g. a
PC), and therefore the operation never depends on any kind of radio contact.
Automatic data transfer:
By inserting the Bonator into a charging console, all the entered orders are transmitted
automatically to the various places where preparation occurs.

Bonator
IR-lighting/HF radio
As a default, every Bonator is equipped with an IR
transceiver. However, to use the transceiver, you have to install a least one
IR-relaystation, as well as a data-concentrator, which receives and distributes the
received orders. The number of IR-relaystation within an installation is not limited, and
we recommend to integrate every guest room into the Bonator system by mounting a single
inconspicuous IR-relaystation. Apart from that, the Bonator with IR-lighing radio works
exactly in the same way as described in the topic "The
Bonator", respectively in accordance with the specification of the "Bonator firmware" as well the "virtual Bonator software".
Instead of IR, the Bonator can also be
equipped with an HF radio transceiver module. HF radio has the advantage that it gets
through brickwork, but in various countries the erection and operation of HF radio
appliances is subject to miscellaneous regulations. So before installing a HF based
system, the appropriate local regulations have to be examined .
